Process and operations review
A documented map of how orders, stock, production, finance and reporting work today, with the gaps, duplicate entry and bottlenecks marked clearly.
VLK NEXA offers technology-led business consulting services for owner-managed firms and growing SMEs. We review how your operations run today, set a practical IT roadmap, and give straight advice on whether a ready ERP product or customised software fits you. Based in Tiruppur, we work with businesses across Tamil Nadu, India and overseas, on site or remotely.
At a glance
Many owner-managed firms grow faster than their systems. Orders, stock, accounts and production sit in separate spreadsheets, messaging groups and one person's memory. Software vendors arrive with demos before anyone has written down what the business needs. Decisions get made on price or on a persuasive presentation, and the project drifts once the contract is signed.
We start with your processes, not with a product. We map how work moves through the business, identify where time and information are lost, and turn that into clear requirements and a phased roadmap. When software is needed, we compare ready products against customised ERP on fit, effort and risk, and say so plainly even when the answer is not ours to build. You receive documents you own and can take to any vendor.
A documented map of how orders, stock, production, finance and reporting work today, with the gaps, duplicate entry and bottlenecks marked clearly.
A phased plan that links technology investment to business goals, with priorities, dependencies and a realistic sequence your team and budget can follow.
A structured evaluation of ready products and customised options against your requirements, with a scoring sheet, demo scripts and a written recommendation.
A clear requirements document covering workflows, roles, reports, integrations and data, written so that any vendor can quote against the same scope.
Milestone plans, review meetings, risk logs and acceptance criteria that keep a software or ERP project accountable from contract to go-live.
An assessment of whether your systems can support new buyers, new locations and compliance reporting, with practical steps to close the gaps.
We meet the owner and department heads, walk through the floor or office, and study current documents, spreadsheets and software to understand how work really flows.
We present findings, agree priorities with you, and prepare the roadmap, requirements and a product-or-custom recommendation with the reasoning laid out in plain language.
We prepare vendor briefs and demo scripts, sit in on evaluations, and set up governance. If you ask us to build, our delivery team takes over in agile sprints.
We support go-live reviews, user training plans and acceptance checks, then revisit the roadmap at agreed intervals so the next phase reflects what the business has learned.
For Tiruppur knitwear and garment exporters and other manufacturers, we review order-to-dispatch flow, costing, job work tracking and the traceability reporting that buyers request.
We assess billing, inventory and purchasing across stores and online channels, then advise on systems that give owners one reliable view of stock and margins.
We map booking, dispatch, tracking and billing processes, and define requirements for systems that connect fleet, warehouse and customer communication without repeated data entry.
We review patient, appointment, pharmacy and billing workflows for clinics and hospitals, and advise on software choices with data privacy and access control in mind.
We charge on a fixed-scope or milestone basis, and the fee is quoted after discovery. The first step is a free 30-minute consultation where we understand the business and what you need decided. We then send a written scope listing the deliverables, the timeline and the fee for each stage, so you know what you are paying for before any work begins.
A focused process review of one function usually takes a few weeks, while a full IT roadmap with ERP selection can run to a few months because it involves more people and vendor demonstrations. We confirm the timeline in writing before starting. We work in stages with agreed review points, so you receive usable findings early instead of waiting for one large final report.
No. The recommendation follows your written requirements. VLK NEXA supplies ready ERP products and also builds customised ERP, so we are not tied to one route. If a ready product fits your workflows, we say so, including when it is not one we supply. If customisation is justified, we explain why and what it involves. The requirements and evaluation documents belong to you and can be taken to any vendor.
No. Our business consulting is advisory work on processes, operations, IT strategy and software decisions. It is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and it does not replace your chartered accountant, auditor or lawyer. Where a system decision touches statutory or compliance matters, we work alongside your professional advisers and design the process and software requirements around their guidance.
Yes to both. We sign an NDA on request before you share any information, and we ask only for the data needed for the review. Access is limited to the people working on your engagement.
