Snowflake consulting in India for data you can trust.

VLK NEXA is a data analytics company in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, offering Snowflake consulting in India and abroad. We design and migrate Snowflake warehouses, model data with dbt, build ELT pipelines and deliver Power BI and Tableau dashboards. The aim is simple. One governed source of numbers that your finance, operations and sales teams all read the same way.

At a glance

  • A single agreed set of figures across finance, operations and sales, designed to end the debate over whose report is correct.
  • Reporting that refreshes on its own schedule, designed to remove manual exports and free analysts for actual analysis.
  • A Snowflake platform with clear ownership, controlled access and visible running costs, designed to grow without surprise bills.
The problem

Plenty of data, no single set of numbers

Most growing businesses already hold the data they need. It sits in the ERP, the accounting package, spreadsheets and a legacy warehouse that nobody wants to touch. Reports are rebuilt by hand each month. Two departments quote two different figures for the same order book. Decisions wait while people argue about whose number is right.

  • Month-end reports assembled by hand from exports and spreadsheets
  • An on-premise or legacy warehouse that is slow, costly to maintain and hard to change
  • Dashboards that nobody trusts because metric definitions differ between teams
  • Cloud data bills that rise without anyone knowing which queries cause them
Our approach

Our approach to Snowflake consulting and analytics

We start with the decisions you need to make, not the tools. From there we work backwards to the metrics, the models and the source systems. Snowflake holds the data. dbt keeps every transformation versioned, tested and documented. Airflow or Fivetran moves data on a schedule you can monitor. Power BI or Tableau sits on top. We work with these tools but are independent of their vendors, so our advice is shaped by your workload and budget.

What you get

Six deliverables, one accountable team.

Snowflake warehouse design

Account structure, databases, schemas, virtual warehouses and environments set up for your workloads, with naming standards and documentation your own team can follow.

Migration from legacy warehouses

A phased move from SQL Server, on-premise or older cloud warehouses into Snowflake, with reconciliation checks at each stage so reports keep matching during the switch.

dbt modelling and ELT pipelines

Tested, version-controlled dbt models fed by Airflow or Fivetran pipelines from your ERP, finance, CRM and operational systems, with alerts when a load fails.

Governance and access control

Role-based access, data masking for sensitive fields, agreed metric definitions and a data catalogue, so people see what they should and nothing more.

Cost and performance tuning

Warehouse sizing, auto-suspend rules, query review, clustering and resource monitors, designed to keep Snowflake spend predictable and dashboards responsive as volumes grow.

Dashboards, self-service and forecasting

Power BI dashboard development, Tableau reporting and governed datasets for self-service analysis, plus demand, sales and cash flow forecasting models where the data supports them.

How we work

Four steps from idea to go-live.

  1. 01

    Discovery

We list the decisions and reports that matter, audit your source systems and current warehouse, check data quality and agree who owns each metric.

  2. 02

    Strategy & Planning

We define the target Snowflake architecture, migration order, dbt model layers, access roles and a cost estimate, then fix scope and milestones for the first release.

  3. 03

    Design & Build

Pipelines, models and dashboards are built in agile sprints. You see a working dashboard on real data early, and every model ships with tests.

  4. 04

    Deploy & Scale

We cut over from the old warehouse, reconcile results, train your users and analysts, then monitor loads, tune costs and add new sources as needs grow.

Industries

Where this service fits.

Manufacturing

Production, order and costing data from ERP and shop floor systems combined, so textile, knitwear and garment exporters can track margins, delays and capacity by style and buyer.

Retail

Point of sale, stock and e-commerce data modelled together for store-level sales dashboards, replenishment signals and demand forecasting across seasons.

Logistics

Trip, fleet and warehouse data consolidated in Snowflake to report on-time delivery, route cost and vehicle utilisation from one consistent dataset.

Healthcare

Patient flow, billing and inventory reporting with masked sensitive fields and role-based access, so managers see trends without exposing personal records.

Questions

Common questions, answered.

How is a Snowflake or analytics project priced?

Pricing is fixed-scope or milestone-based and is quoted after discovery. We first need to see how many source systems, models and dashboards are involved. Snowflake usage itself is billed to you directly by Snowflake on consumption, and we provide an estimate of that running cost in the plan, along with the settings we will use to keep it under control.

How long does a Snowflake implementation or migration take?

A first subject area usually takes a few weeks, and a full warehouse migration can run to several months. The timeline depends on the number of source systems, the volume of history to move and the quality of the existing data. We plan the work in phases so that one area, such as sales or finance, is live with working dashboards early. You receive a phase-by-phase timeline after discovery, before any commitment.

Do we need Snowflake, or is Power BI on our current database enough?

No, not every business needs Snowflake, and we will say so when that is the case. If you have one or two source systems and modest volumes, Power BI on a well-modelled PostgreSQL or SQL Server database can be enough. Snowflake earns its place when you have many sources, growing data, several teams querying at once or a legacy warehouse that has become hard to maintain.

How do you keep our data secure during and after the project?

Your data stays in your own Snowflake account and cloud region, under your ownership. We work through named, role-based logins with the minimum access needed, mask sensitive fields and use non-production environments for development. Access is reviewed at handover and removed when you ask. We sign an NDA on request before any data or system details are shared.

Can you work with us remotely if we are outside Tamil Nadu or India?

Yes. Data and analytics work suits remote delivery, and we serve clients across India and internationally from our base in Tiruppur, near Coimbatore. You get a single point of contact, scheduled sprint reviews on video and shared access to the project board and repository. On-site workshops can be arranged for clients in Western Tamil Nadu. Training and support continue after go-live.
